THE IMAGINATION MUSEUM

UK MUSEUMS TOUR FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

‘Everything is not as it seems in The Imagination Museum. Allow us to
introduce you to Mildred, Henry and Harriet, three eccentric tour-guides who
will bring to life a series of museum artefacts through words and movement.

The Imagination Museum has been
created in collaboration with writer Anna Selby, with original music by Max Perryment. It will awaken everyone’s
curiosity and desire to explore the nooks and crannies of the museum space.

The piece has been created in collaboration with
children aged 7-11, and is suitable for all ages.

The Imagination Museum is a
children’s dance theatre piece which has been designed for performances in
museums, theatres, heritage sites, art galleries and libraries as part of the
Dancing in Museums project. Alongside our performances, we will also be
delivering creative dance workshops for children aged 7-11.

The Dancing in Museums project is supported using public
funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council EnglandLincolnshire County CouncilFund NK and Derbyshire County Council.

Dancers: Robert Guy, Jessamin Landamore-Coyne and Lucy Starkey; joined in 2016 by Sarah Blanc, Joe Garbett, Megan Griffiths and Chloe Mead
