‘The Imagination Museum’ trailer – Made By Katie Green
Role – Dancer/Performer
‘Everything is not as it seems in The Imagination Museum. Allow us to introduce you to Mildred, Henry and Harriet, three eccentric tour-guides who will bring to life a series of museum artefacts through words and movement.
The Imagination Museum has been created in collaboration with writer Anna Selby, with original music by Max Perryment. It will awaken everyone’s curiosity and desire to explore the nooks and crannies of the museum space.
The piece has been created in collaboration with children aged 7-11, and is suitable for all ages.
The Imagination Museum is a children’s dance theatre piece which has been designed for performances in museums, theatres, heritage sites, art galleries and libraries as part of the Dancing in Museums project. Alongside our performances, we will also be delivering creative dance workshops for children aged 7-11. Click here to read more information about those workshops. The Dancing in Museums project will be supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, Lincolnshire County Council, Fund NK, Derbyshire County Council and many other partners to be announced on this page soon. We are also looking for Patrons to support this and other projects in the future: visit the Support page for more information.’
